CfD discussion[edit]

Just so we're clear: This category was never listed for deletion. Category:National Bolshevist topics was listed for deletion. It was deleted and the articles in it were moved here. There was some confunsion, however, so here is a record of the discussion. -Aranel ("Sarah") 19:15, 29 Nov 2004 (UTC)

Category:National Bolshevik topics[edit]

Category:National Bolshevism already exists, is anyone suggesting Category:National Bolshevik topics take its place?

Do nothing as Category:National Bolshevik topics does not even exist. IZAK 07:53, 23 Nov 2004 (UTC)

Relax. This did exist when I listed it for deletion. I didn't delete it. It was deleted early, so if anyone disagrees with its deletion, I'll undelete it. -Aranel ("Sarah") 14:24, 23 Nov 2004 (UTC)
I beg to differ, there is absolutely no history for this page. Can you cite the URLs or pages that show that it was ever listed at all before you wrote it here? Thanks. IZAK 09:16, 24 Nov 2004 (UTC)
There is always a history.
 1. I listed the category for deletion at 11:55 on November 22. See [1].
 2. Category:National Bolshevism was created on November 22 at 13:44. See [2].
 3. I just restored Category:National Bolshevik topics. Check for yourself when I added the CfD notice to it. You can check when it was deleted and restored at Wikipedia:Deletion log. (Restored: 12:55, 24 Nov 2004; Deleted: 17:56, 22 Nov 2004. Note that if you want to search the deletion log, you should look for both "National Bolshevik topics" and "National_Bolshevik_topics".)
 4. Why would I lie about this? It would be easy to prove me wrong, and anyway, why would I bother? -Aranel ("Sarah") 13:04, 24 Nov 2004 (UTC)

This is very confusing. Are we being asked to vote on the choice betewen having a category called Category:National Bolshevism or one called Category:National Bolshevik topics? If this is valid subject matter, I'd favor the first. Or are we being asked to vote to have neither, and that the topic is somehow invalid? In that case, no one seems to have given the arguments for doing so. -- Jmabel | Talk 08:19, Nov 29, 2004 (UTC)
