Dispute on Sundown Town Information[edit]

I would like to request modification of the statement in the article "By 1899, Mitchell County had a sundown town policy of preventing Black Americans from living or working in the county." There has never existed a sundown law in Mitchell County. The County Commission commissioned the county attorney to look into this allegation in 2021 and he reported back that no such law ever existed.
