"Dance" lists and related articles[edit]

One thing that is going to need to be handled is the various dance related articles that are all over the place- probably requiring merging, and reworking into the main dance article. I for one, would like to get all the "main" articles, especially Dance, ready for the featured articles listing. We'll have to figure out a proper way to merge all these pages, and i'll attempt to start a list here of all those that look to be random and needing merging. They also may not need merging with the main Dance page, but could use other merging, to condense the information into proper areas. Or, they may need massive expansion, and just proper mention in the main dance article.Lyellin 14:48, Aug 3, 2004 (UTC)

(note: have split Lyellin's list into groups Ohka- 19:39, 3 Aug 2004 (UTC))

how about a new main article for Dance and Cinema that briefly covers all the subsets and leads onto them. it could also be an subsection of the main dance page.

History of dance needs a lot of work. these sections could be added to give social and religious context.

these pages are simply references, i'm not sure that they need to be merged. there is some potential for list of dances and dance music to be added to History of dance. possible inclusion of highly annotated dance bibliograhy.

redlinks need to be turned blue. and needs some mention on main dance page. again ref Ohka-

Dance etiquette varies according to context, form and style. perhaps this should be a part of other articles rather than and article itself?

not sure about this one...

should this be merged with Wikipedia:WikiProject Dance pages ?
