I Took the song "NOT FALLINIG APART" off Becuse it appears on the new cd

No, this is a different song. "Not Falling Apart" cannot be confused with the other "Not Falling Apart" which is on the second album. Someone had the title wrong though: it is called "Hold On" (A google search will give you the lyrics, which include the refrain that goes "Hold on, hold on, hold on / I'm not falling apart") I'll add it back... - 144.118.202.64 (talk) 19:28, 28 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Import Version[edit]

I think it should be mentioned, I actually just ordered the import version from CD Universe. I'm confused exactly what country it is from though. CD Universe says BMG Argentina, but Oreos is saying that their copy is from New Zealand. I'll wait until my copy arrives. Valmor 00:54, 15 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Rag Doll + the Other Songs?[edit]

When I bought Songs about Jane, I got the import copy, which apparently is the deluxe or something. (Note that I live in the US :P) Shouldn't the track listing for this be mentioned? (I guess it is from New Zealand, because on the back of the CD it says 'distributed by BMG New Zealand limited. made in New Zealand'. If it should be mentioned, the track listing should be on the Amazon listing. Just wanted to mention it. --Oreos 22:31, 23 April 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Copyright issues[edit]

Wikipedia policy suggests that links to sites that possibly infringe copyright should, in most cases, be removed: the link in the Albumbox to [A Rant A Day] is to a page which uses (presumably) copyrighted material, the album cover for Songs of Jane, as its background image.

I'd suggest leaving its review in, as it gives another POV to any readers, but perhaps the link should be removed? Someone could just quote one sentence of the review to give the point of it, though...

Image:Songs About Jane.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. Other songs (I didn't know there was already another post on this talk page with that title, so I am changing this title)[edit]

I'm not into this band, but I noticed this page on the recent changes board. While I investigated, I also noticed some suspicious material. First off, what is the purpose of the "other songs" section? Second off, I seriously doubt that a Maroon 5 song is called "Pleasure F**ker", because an anonymous person posted that information on there and re-posted it as they reverted an anti-vandalism bot. I think I will remove the latter, and I recommend someone do something about the "other songs" section. A list of "other songs" has no proof of notability, save that one song which supplied a soundtrack for a video game, which could be placed elsewhere. There is a song by Maroon 5 called "Pleasure F**ker" that has never appeared on any of their albums; however, I'm a bit puzzled as to why it was ever mentioned on this page as it has never been associated with "Songs About Jane". Beckerbuns (talk) 06:31, 7 May 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Orphaned references in Songs About Jane[edit]

I check pages listed in Category:Pages with incorrect ref formatting to try to fix reference errors. One of the things I do is look for content for orphaned references in wikilinked articles. I have found content for some of Songs About Jane's orphans, the problem is that I found more than one version. I can't determine which (if any) is correct for this article, so I am asking for a sentient editor to look it over and copy the correct ref content into this article.

2003[edit]

I may understand Harder to Breathe being 2002 (even though I saw it for the first time the following year), but I know I saw the video for This Love in 2003. I remember seeing the video again in January 2004 and thinking "this is going to be remembered as a 2004 song now, isn't it?" (best proof I got), because that's what happens when a song is released late in one year and held over into the next. I swear I saw the video and heard the song in 2003; otherwise I wouldn't have thought that. I mean, why would there be one song released in 2002 then every other song is released in 2004?
