spam links[edit]

Hi Net, I have noticed repeated removal of links to the OCTGN program, with your comments about it being 'self-advertising spam' - however, if the link added in this way was spam, then how come links to MTG Workstation, GCCG, Apprentice, and MODO remain? Surely OCTGN has the same right to be there as the other programs? Have you a vendetta against the program? (Zark the Damned)

There are dozens of other software programs used to play Magic. That article (and Wikipedia) does not attempt to document every single new one that comes out. Only those that have, frankly, much more common use are included. If at some future point your software becomes as widely-known as those others, then someone will include it. Until then, please don't reinsert it because self-promotion is not allowed here. If you want to make a case, then make it on Talk:Magic: The Gathering. -- Netoholic @ 17:01, 2005 Mar 10 (UTC)
