Xtra[edit]

Well, the way I look at it is that while people say "Xtra Magazine", it's really more of an alt-weekly, since it publishes on newsprint in a tabloid format similar to Now and Eye, and its content is more like a Now than a Toronto Life. I suppose your view on the subject might be different, but I see it as more of an alternative newspaper than a magazine per se. Bearcat 03:36, 21 Jan 2005 (UTC)

Bi-weekly tabloid? Well, since you sound like you have actually seen the magazine, I'll trust your judgement on that. I just put it with the magazine because of the magazine label. I don't believe that women's magazine, or men's or GLBT should be put into an Alternative section as long as it covers every day things as well, such as cooking and news right next to issues that specifically interest their "target audience". If it cover only things that interest the target audience with no mention of national or international issues that doesn't concern them, than it's an Alternative.
