The "modern zealots" portion could use a re-write, so as to adhere to the NPOV policy. "Zealots stand up for Truth" doesn't sound very neutral to me.

The "modern zealots" portion doesn't have much grammatical cohesion (e.g. sentances abruptly end, a random quote from a computer game is partly inserted, etc.) CheeseDreams 10:16, 30 Oct 2004 (UTC)

The "modern zealots" portion appears to be referring to [1]. They added similar to Zealot on en.wiktionary, and we did some research on them, and they appear to only be local to North Carolina (the IP address that added that section is also from a NC university). They should probably be noted as a local phenomenon unless evidence can be shown of further widespreadness. —Muke Tever talk (la.wiktionary) 23:47, 5 Jun 2005 (UTC)

Merging "Zealots" with "zealotry"[edit]

The Jewish Zealots that existed in the 1st century C.E. were deserve their own article in Wikipedia. While all movements within zealotry have common elements, the characteristics of the Zealots warrant a specific article.
