I have changed the default name to Shell not Shell Oil since the latter is US specific and elsewhere in the world Shell Oil means lubricants.

I struggle to be neutral since before leacing to work for a charity I was a senior manager in Shell but have attempted to balance the comments a little. — Preceding unsigned comment added by BozMo (talkcontribs) 11:07, 22 April 2004 (UTC)

Bold company names

I'm bolding company names as they appear for the first time in the article. - Jerryseinfeld 19:29, 3 Dec 2004 (UTC)

Recent Accounting Scandals

Do you think this needs to be updated to reflect the 2003-2005 scandals with how Shell accounted for reserves? The scandal led to the firing of several top officers, as well as the reorganization of corporate structure. It seems like the event would be important enough to merit a big reference in the article. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Feco (talkcontribs) 00:47, 25 March 2005 (UTC)
