P. serraticauda images[edit]

The article is just 2 images related to the Flat-tailed day gecko.--Lucky13pjn 01:16, Oct 18, 2004 (UTC)

  • Delete. Absolutely, unnecessary - this isn't Commons. A speedy delete candidate perhaps?
  • keep don't care or merge (done) to main article there seems to be no other working image. I already made one image the default for the article. Plus, the two images shown sufficently different to be worth having. Mozzerati
    • Comment. The images are not what are being debated here, I am VfDing the page they are on.--Lucky13pjn 22:32, Oct 21, 2004 (UTC)
      • I've now put the images on the main page. Vote changes to don't care. Mozzerati 18:08, 2004 Oct 23 (UTC)
  • No Vote. Hmmm, what is the proper means of providing useful but not crucial image, without swamping low-bandwidth users? --Jerzy(t) 14:10, 2004 Oct 22 (UTC)
    • IMHO small thumbnails with links back to bigger ones + good captions / alt tags for the really bandwidth deprived surfing with no images and visually impaired. There's still a place for dedicated image galleries. For example Gallery of Socialist Realism. Mozzerati 17:56, 2004 Oct 23 (UTC)
  • Why couldn't these images be shrunk and put in the Flat-tailed gecko article? Fishal 17:06, 23 Oct 2004 (UTC) Oh, andI vote delete.
  • I guess it would be preferable to have two separate images, with a thumbnail for each, rather than 3 pages for 2 photos. It might be best to provide an "additional image" link. Delete Cacophony 17:19, Oct 23, 2004 (UTC)
