It's because it's a direct link to the image. A link to the page that the image is on would work: http://www.greenplastic.com/multimedia/gallery/band/

If im doing something can someone tell me please Im not sure about a lot of stuff i just found out about this place this morning and i have been helping anywhere i can. So please tell what if im doing something wrong and if i can fix it

Hello. I noticed that the text you put in the Vanessa Carlton article was very similar to that on this webpage. Did you write that page, or have permission to use the material from it? If so, please could you reply at Talk:Vanessa Carlton or Wikipedia:Copyvio. And did you have permission to use the photograph? It's just that we have to make sure that we are not infringing other people's copyrights here. Your own contributions that you write yourself are quite welcome, of course. The developer team at Wikimedia is making some changes to how accounts work, as part of our on-going efforts to provide new and better tools for our users like cross-wiki notifications.
