Hi, John!

Your "Romanov" article is a prime speedy deletion candidate as it stands due to its lack of content. May I suggest that you add a bit more info if you wish for it to stay? It doesn't have to be a long article at all. In fact, you can tag it with the {{bio-stub}} template to alert others that the article needs fleshing out. Take care! Hi. The copyright / licence of this image is being discussed at WP:IS. Please consider letting us know where it came from and assistng in tagging it. thanks --Tagishsimon (talk)

Copyrighted images[edit]

The images Image:Ajvtime.jpg, Image:Ajvwg.jpg, and Image:Ajvms.jpg that you uploaded have no fair use or GFDL tags, and the titles beneath the images where they are used assert the copyright of "ajv". They are now listed at Wikipedia:Copyright problems. If you are the copyright owner of these images, please comment on that page. Uncle G 09:47:08, 2005-07-28 (UTC)

Image Tagging Image:Polesden1.jpg[edit]

Thanks for uploading Image:Polesden1.jpg. I notice the image page currently doesn't specify who created the image, so the copyright status is therefore unclear. If you have not created the image yourself then you need to argue that we have the right to use the image on Wikipedia (see copyright tagging below). If you have not created the image yourself then you should also specify where you found it, i.e., in most cases link to the website where you got it, and the terms of use for content from that page.

If the image also doesn't have a copyright tag then you must also add one. If you created/took the picture then you can use {{GFDL}} to release it under the GFDL. If you can claim fair use use {{Non-free fair use in|article name}} or {{fairuse}}. See Wikipedia:Image copyright tags for the full list of copyright tags that you can use.

If you have uploaded other images, please check that you have specified their source and copyright tagged them, too. You can find a list of image pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any unsourced and untagged images will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thanks so much. --Pak21 09:52, 9 December 2005 (UTC)[reply]

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated files}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the file's talk page.

Please consider addressing the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated files}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and files for discussion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion.
