Turkey vandal

Hey. The person who you just reverted wasn't the Turkey number vandal, it was a sockpuppet of User:Bitola. But thanks, the Turkey number vandal has gotten a user name since my last comment here, her name is Inanna. Sartorial Choices

I'm confused about the policy are implementing here. Is the principle's pink suit non-notable? A pink-suited award-winning principle is pretty unusual (and hence notable?). The statement seems to be well supported. Further, his choice of tie here Dr. Barry Purvis of CASHS named state High School Principal of the Year, seems to indicate a certain pattern of behavior. • Dr. Purvis' clothing choices may be rather disturbing, but encyclopedic? Maybe when we're ready to start the Barry Purvis article, there should be a section on his neckwear choices, and a separate article on the pink suit might be merited. Java / C# / Kermet the Frog

I've been worried about the C# vs Java article for some time. It does seem to dwell too much on the current political situation between Free Software and Java, which is bordering on the religious at times. And that has led to a noticeable anti-Java bias. The important thing is that we get a good article, which reflects the highs and lows of both platforms without getting embattled in pedantic detail. I'm going to post a suggestion as to how the article can be forked into three, with two new articles dealing with the politics of Java and .Net -- I'd be grateful if you'd cast your eye over that and post a supporting comment if you approve. (As for being my sock puppet... hmm, I'm not really comfortable with my hand up anyone's back passage  :) JavaKid 10:09, 18 April 2007 (UTC)

A !!BIG!! thank you for cleaning up the split articles. My head was spinning so much with all the cut/paste action that I didn't have time to add links and check for anything other than basic spelling/grammar mistakes. It didn't help that my first substantial draft simple got reverted by persons unnamed, rather than attempting to fix via edit: its soul destroying having to re-work the same text twice to write all the C# material to relate to .NET (yep -- finally got the message, it's in caps! :) simply because someone can't be bothered to do 'positive edits'. What are the odds he'll just do a mass-revert again once he sees the latest changes? I'm guessing its probably a strong cert, unfortunately. Ho-hum! Three revert rule threats

The three revert rule isn't a shield that allows you to make any change you want to any article at any time without the risk of another editor repairing damage (if any). Your changes do need to meet wikipedia standards. If you want to seek mediation, I don't mind. 24.65.79.192 01:54, 21 April 2007 (UTC)

Japanese name order

Re: your edit to Uehara Azumi, the Manual of Style states that all Japanese born since the Meiji era should be listed in GivenName FamilyName order. I'll ask an admin to fix this one, but, I thought it was something you may want to know for the future. Regards. Neier 05:38, 21 April 2007 (UTC)
