Major cleanup needed

This page is mostly about the Mongolian gerbil (Meriones unguiculatus), but the link for Tribe Gerbillinae redirects here. There's already a better page for Meriones unguiculatus, so I will move most of the contents of this page there to avoid a mess of redirects, I'll create a new page for the tribe and move the material that is appropriate to that there. I've now done what I have time for on this problem. In summary, I have moved the material that was about M. unguiculatus to that page, moved the material that is genuinely about Gerbillinae to what was formerly a redirect page (this one), and turned Gerbil into a redirect page to M. unguiculatus. There are probably many redirects that need skipping over, but I don't have time to attack them now. At least anyone putting the obvious search terms into Wikipedia should now get to the correct article. seglea (talk) 14:58, 22 December 2020 (UTC)
