Most people would expect, on typing 'Lord Lucan' to read about the 7th Earl of Lucan. This page should redirect there, with a link to the 'Earl of Lucan' page. I'm sure the same should be true of other aristocrats. jguk 18:24, 16 Oct 2004 (UTC)

No. George Bingham, 3rd Earl of Lucan was just as famous in his day. It is not unlikely that people would create links to the 3rd Earl using Lord Lucan. Mintguy (T)

I just checked all the incoming links - 14 were for the disappeared murderer, 7 for other Lord Lucans. I too find the redirect to the 7th Earl a problem, and would support a redirect to Earl of Lucan. DuncanHill (talk) 19:07, 4 February 2016 (UTC)[reply]
