Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Nokair

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Has been listed as needing translation for a couple months, to no result. Kevin Saff 18:42, 3 May 2004 (UTC)[reply]

So? We should delete it and make it harder to translate? I don't think that makes sense. Keep. Snowspinner 19:09, 3 May 2004 (UTC)[reply]
What language is it in (I get ????????????????); I propose we move it to that Wikipedia. Alcarillo 19:33, 3 May 2004 (UTC)[reply]
It looks like Thai to me. Smerdis of Tlön 20:44, 3 May 2004 (UTC)[reply]
Why do we want to keep non-English articles in the English Wikipedia? And for how long? Delete. RickK 01:46, 4 May 2004 (UTC)[reply]
  • Delete - Changed my vote after looking at user's contributions. Seem to be copy/pastes of dubious value. --bodnotbod 21:31, May 3, 2004 (UTC)
  • Note: written prior to my vote change - bodnotbod: Please look at the history of this item, it's been posted for translation for a very long time already. How long are we going to keep it? Will we keep gibberish forever as long as it's in a language obscure enough? Kevin Saff 21:05, 3 May 2004 (UTC)[reply]
  • Yeah, fair enough - I've looked in detail at the users contributions. He/she seems to have pasted soem foreign language copy about airports into articles relating to them, been told off for this, then gone on to paste English language copy into other articles about airports. I've changed my vote. I don't know if that's allowed, but I've done it anyway. --bodnotbod 21:31, May 3, 2004 (UTC)

  • If it hasn't been translated by now, it probably won't be. Delete -- Cyrius|&#9998 23:05, May 3, 2004 (UTC)
  • I've replaced the Thai page with a stub in english. TB 12:24, 4 May 2004 (UTC)[reply]
  • Keep, TB is awesome! --Samuel J. Howard 20:05, May 4, 2004 (UTC)
  • I second the motion. It went from unusable to a perfectly good stub. Bravo! - Lucky 6.9 21:40, 4 May 2004 (UTC)[reply]
  • It's a stub. Keep -- Cyrius|&#9998 22:21, May 4, 2004 (UTC)
