Deaf Beats, The[edit]

Looks rather non-notable to me...a sum total of 52 Google hits for the band name, some of which aren't even relevant, searching for "jacob kraft" "dead beats" gets a sum total of 2 results. And if kept, the article should definitely be renamed to either Deaf Beats or The Deaf Beats, whichever is correct -- Ferkelparade π 08:32, 21 Dec 2004 (UTC)

      • Anons are allowed to vote on VFD and elsewhere. There is no policy that says that anons can't vote or that their votes don't count. Admins can, however, discount anon votes if there is strong evidence of bad faith. For the relevant policy see: Wikipedia:Deletion guidelines for administrators. Also, it is helpful to keep in mind that decisions are made in Wikipedia by "rough consensus". Voting takes place only to help determine whether such a consensus exists. • Keep. I wrote this article, but I am not the one who deemed the band notable. Apparently it was added to the list of notable industrial artists in early May by a different user and was not challenged at that time. I was simply contributing the absent information. • Keep It should be preserved because, in fact, it refers not only to a particular band but a style of music as well pioneered by The Deaf Beats. Note: anon vote with no other edits
  • Keep. Take a decision only if participation on this poll exceeds 1.5% of active wikipedia population . (Active population are legitimate users that have cast at least one vote in the last 33 days). Keep this poll active for 14 days then archive it. If the participation threshold is bypassed, implement the best rated poll option regardless the percentage this first poll option got. If the poll decision is not a final delete decision, then whatever else the decision is it should be valid for 1 month then we should reconsider.Iasson 09:10, 24 Dec 2004 (UTC)

  • Delete, they aren't on Amazon, my benchmark for authors and recording musicians. They aren't mentioned in any of the scanned books on the site, they aren't on a compilation album, They aren't worth it. -- user:zanimum
