Shouldn't we just merge this with comma category. The slice category as defined appears to be identical to the comma category of "objects over C". — Fropuff 14:15, 2004 Aug 15 (UTC)

Probably. I am not sure which article is better for discussing indexed families of objects, LCCCs and internal products, and perhaps also the Seely construction of a classifying category for DTT.
