Nashville Category Page[edit]

Ok, It's still my category page right? Just wanting to make sure on that. I understand how you wouldn't include the skyscrapers with the category itself but by using the subcategory. I can look for other things with an association with Nashville to fill the category in. Riffsyphon1024 01:55, 25 Jan 2005 (UTC)

Bot Issue[edit]

If I'm not mistaken, you can update a category by clicking on "edit this page" and then clicking on "Save page" without making any modifications. At least, this worked at one time, not sure if it still does, haven't tried it lately.

This doesn't add a new version to the page's history, but still updates the category page. The Kevinbot should try this if possible, to avoid adding an unnecessary version to pages' histories. -- Curps 05:03, 12 Mar 2005 (UTC)

OK, too bad it didn't work. Perhaps that's due to the Mediawiki software upgrade making things work differently. I remember it working some months ago. -- Curps 05:20, 12 Mar 2005 (UTC)

Transwiki bot[edit]

Re: the backlog of Category:Move to Wiktionary, I was wondering if you'd be interested / possible for your bot to move entries (from a different category though, like Cat:Ready to move to wiktionary or something similar, which would only contain entries that are properly formatted for Wiktionary), add a line to Wikipedia:Transwiki log and Wiktionary:Transwiki log, so they (Wiktionarians) can copy it at their leisure, and add a {{db}} with an explanation that the entry is moved and a link to both Transwiki logs, so the entry can be deleted. If you/your bot can do this, then I'll start going through the entries, properly formatting them and changing to the new category. Let me know. --jag123 08:34, 14 Mar 2005 (UTC)

I just noticed your post on Category talk:Move to Wiktionary. A user interface for your bot is a good idea, but you'd be stuck doing everything. I think a seperate category is a better alternative, since it allows many people to participate. --jag123 08:53, 14 Mar 2005 (UTC)

DB| move to wiktionary[edit]

Please do not place speedy delete tags unless the wikipedia content has actually been moved to wiktionary. Kappa 19:28, 15 Mar 2005 (UTC)

Edit history comments[edit]

The edit history comments being applied by your bot are wrong. Uncle G 03:13, 2005 Mar 22 (UTC)

Badge[edit]

on Badge ... That was not a candidate for speedy deletion; the content was not in Wiktionary but it should be moved there. Courtland 19:37, 2005 Mar 15 (UTC)

Wiktionary tag[edit]

Please stop removing the wikitionary tag. Even if you don't think it's a candidate for speedy deletion, you should not be removing wiktionary tags from those article that clearly are candidates for moving to wiktionary. Kevin Rector 19:51, Mar 15, 2005 (UTC)

  • Well OK, I just figured that the tags were redundant since wiktionary already has entries for them. Kappa 19:57, 15 Mar 2005 (UTC)

Bot edit summary[edit]

I noticed that the edit summary says "Transwikied to Wikipedia".  :-) SWAdair | Talk 07:01, 22 Mar 2005 (UTC)

I noticed you suggested to transwiki and delete it. What about -phobia an the dozen of the likes? Mikkalai 17:15, 22 Mar 2005 (UTC)

Wikipedia moves[edit]

I took care of the pages you asked me to do. RickK 20:40, Mar 22, 2005 (UTC)
