Local comments[edit]

Is it time to warn User:65.35.69.180 about being a nuisance and banning? UtherSRG 19:30, 13 Dec 2003 (UTC)

Next time he posts a "joke" like the Santa Claus/X-Men one, then I think it'll be time. I'm inclined to be a little charitable, but given his anonymity and attitude he's about at the end of his rope with me. -mhr 23:17, 13 Dec 2003 (UTC)
I'm also getting rather annoyed by his pages. --Lowellian 22:35, Dec 15, 2003 (UTC)

Now he keeps reverting my changes to Strength level (comics) without explanation. He seems to be making an ass of himself at Cronus and Bigfoot as well (note some of his contribution comments). I'm tempted to add him to Wikipedia:Conflicts_between_users since he flamed out over one grumpy post I made on User talk:65.35.69.180 and refuses to talk to me anymore. -mhr 22:22, 9 Jan 2004 (UTC)

On Wikipedia:Current disputes over articles, UtherSRG notes that 65.35.69.180 is probably the same as Lizard King and 69.22.99.231. -mhr 01:10, 10 Jan 2004 (UTC)

After reading Talk:Bigfoot, I suspect Lizard King is probably not those other folks, as he seems a bit more literate and willing to engage in conversation than they are. Although maybe he's just maintaining the integrity of one persona and creating throwaways to flame with. I don't know how paranoid I ought to be here. -mhr 06:54, 13 Jan 2004 (UTC)
Well, his general behavior at Wikipedia:Conflicts_between_users makes me doubt the wisdom of my open-mindedness. -mhr 23:52, 20 Jan 2004 (UTC)

I find some of his edits are questionable. For example, "J. Jonah Jameson" appearing three times under the letter J; adding "Lord Shingen" under L; what he did with "Weapon X"; the addition of Lilith (Daughter of Dracula) (even if this character mattered, and I personally have no idea who this is, is that really the disambiguation phrase we want?), and so forth (there are more, but I'm tired of listing). I understand that he or she is probably a newbie (unless it's someone who decided to pick up a new username), and it does look like Gtrmp is genuinely trying to be helpful, so I'm not trying to remove his useful edits, but could you clean up the ones that aren't very useful? I would do it myself, but I'm really too busy, though I did leave a message on his talk page. I'm also CCing this message to UtherSRG. --Lowellian 08:15, Feb 1, 2004 (UTC)

I did some clean-up on the page generally. We probably don't need multiple entries for a character within a single letter (e.g. J. Jonah Jameson or Reed Richards), or for secret identities of characters who aren't well-known (no reason to list Venom under Eddie Brock, for instance), but a few characters are probably worth multiple entries. Anyway, I hope my re-working looks good. -mhr 22:41, 1 Feb 2004 (UTC)

Your Hawkman rewrite[edit]

I just wanted to drop a note - your rewrite of the Hawkman article is an excellent piece of work. If I had WikiMoney or WikiCookies or WikiSomething Else to give you, I would, but as it stands, I have only my congratulations for a job well done. I hope it's enough. PMC 00:20, 4 Feb 2004 (UTC)

Congratulations are thanks enough! Glad you like it! -mhr 01:09, 4 Feb 2004 (UTC)

hi![edit]

Your re-org on the comics article was great. At first when I saw there were extensive changes, I was concerned, but after reading it, it's much improved. Probably see you around the comics related pages.... ike9898 20:42, Feb 5, 2004 (UTC)

Interested in filling some red links?[edit]

You're obviously a comic book fan. I created pages for the Kirby Awards, Eisner Awards, and Harvey Awards which now have dozens of red links. If you're interested, I'd appreciate any help in creating articles to fill them. MK 07:29, 13 Apr 2004 (UTC)
