Image copyright problem with Image:Wahlstatt.jpg[edit]

Thanks for uploading Image:Wahlstatt.jpg. However, the image may soon be deleted unless we can determine the copyright holder and copyright status. The Wikimedia Foundation is very careful about the images included in Wikipedia because of copyright law (see Wikipedia's Copyright policy).

The copyright holder is usually the creator, the creator's employer, or the last person who was transferred ownership rights. Copyright information on images is signified using copyright templates. The three basic license types on Wikipedia are open content, public domain, and fair use. Find the appropriate template in Wikipedia:Image copyright tags and place it on the image page like this: {{TemplateName}}.

Please signify the copyright information on any other images you have uploaded or will upload. Remember that images without this important information can be deleted by an administrator. If you have not created this media yourself then you need to argue that we have the right to use the media on Wikipedia (see copyright tagging below). If you have not created the media yourself then you should also specify where you found it, i.e., in most cases link to the website where you got it, and the terms of use for content from that page.

If the media also doesn't have a copyright tag then you must also add one. If you created/took the picture, audio, or video then you can use {{GFDL-self}} to release it under the GFDL. If you believe the media qualifies as fair use, please read fair use, and then use a tag such as {{Non-free fair use in|article name}} or one of the other tags listed at Wikipedia:Image copyright tags#Fair_use. See Wikipedia:Image copyright tags for the full list of copyright tags that you can use.

If you have uploaded other media, please check that you have specified their source and copyright tagged them, too. Rail bridge in Belize[edit]

Thanks for adding a picture to Rail transport in Belize! It was missing for a long time. Just a small doubt - is this really a former railroad bridge? On the first glance, it seems rather broad (wide) for a narrow-gauge banana railroad. It would also help if you could specify the exact location (e.g., across which river) - especially if you are still in Belize. Otherwise, thanks for the contribution - and we are looking for more! I was going back to Belmopan along the Hummingbird Highway the second time when I remembered the upcoming bridge. It is one of the widest and most spectacular bridges along the road - therefore I simply assumed that it may have been a former railroad bridge. My expertise in this field is nonexistent, so my assumptions may be wrong. Unfortunately I have left Belize, and neither can recall the exact location of the river. But I will double check the map and Google Earth's images - if my memory serves me correctly (this was only a day ago), it must have been the longest river crossing. Hi Kelly. Thank you for the message. I have checked the picture and cannot remember where it came from (it was probably copied from somewhere but I cannot tell where from). This was a time when I was a "newbie" and mistakenly uploaded several files with an unclear copyright status. As I can see on Special:Log/Sapfan, all but this one are now deleted. And as there are several other good-quality, no-problem photos of the same palace on Commons, there is no need to keep this one. Please delete it asap. Hi Sfan00. Thanks for verifying the copyright status of this file. I have three comments to it:

I am the author and the linked website ( http://railtrips.euweb.cz/c_hon_foto15_en.html ) is my own. If you do not trust what I say here, then please open the page and click on the picture. You will be redirected (unfortunately) to another file on Wikimedia Commons due to an error which I cannot fix now. However, from this it is clear that there is an intention of the website admin (which is myself) to present this picture on Wikipedia, because otherwise he/I would not advertise it this way.
The photo that you point to is superseded by File:Train LaCeiba2.JPG on Commons, which has a higher resolution (and a much higher one than on the website - proving that it could not have been just "pirated" from there) and is reusable on all wikiprojects.
So, to summarize: I recommend to replace the File:Passenger train being refueled.jpg with File:Train LaCeiba2.JPG everywhere and then to delete the first file. So, in effect, I agree with you but for a different reason :-)

Hope this is clear. Let me know if you need any further information. And I will correct the link on the website to point to the right picture once I get access to my other PC - hopefully by the end of this week.
