It would be GREAT if someone could compile a good list of "The Etch-A-Sketch In Popular Culture", possibly to place in this article as a sub-section. I know that it is featured in the movie Elf, for one, and it probably shows up in many various other places. --Edlin2|Talk 07:20, 10 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I removed the following:

Though, Austin R. Kelk - fmr. Chairman of the Kelton Corporation - also claims to be the creater of the Etch-a-Sketch.

Google shows no non-Wikipedia-derived hits for "Austin R. Kelk"; Kelk etch-a sketch; Kelk Kelton corporation. There's also no mention of any claim from Kelk on any of the linked resources. Kelton Corporation appear to have marketed etch-a-sketch in Canada, but that's all. --194.73.130.132 10:10, 22 Mar 2005 (UTC)

Sizes and similarity?[edit]

I owned an Etch-A-Sketch once, the normal near-A4 size one. I also owned a keyring-sized one, and I'm sure I've seen special giant ones somewhere. Could the keyring-size be smushed in somewhere?

Also has anyone heard of Magna Doodle? I don't know how it works, but it's a drawing tool like Etchy that has a stylus and probably works with magnets. My cousin also owned something that appeared to use the stylus to turn on and off various lights on another drawing tool. Lady BlahDeBlah 21:29, 14 January 2006 (UTC)[reply]
