Redirects[edit]

Howdy. I notice you've been creating a few redirect pages today. You've almost got them right, but need to include a hash sign (#) at the start of the article for them to work, ie:

#REDIRECT [[Some target page]]

EHRMS[edit]

Hi, you have added the abbreviation "EHRMS" to the article Human resource management system without explaining it. Could you compensate for this? I've a guess what it means, but you should know better. Thanks, --S.K. 15:08, 31 May 2005 (UTC)[reply]

S.K.[edit]

Hi S.K. thanks for sticking my nose back into this article! EHRMS is an alternative abbreviation for HRMS, HRIS, HCM and so forth! It is industry and functional wide understood as Human Resource Managament System. The E, obviousely stands for electronic, as you might have imagined. So long, again thanks for your input and for visiting this article ;-)

Hi,

I dit not notice indeed that you worked recently on this article. About the French market, I don't know much about it, I am Belgian ! I did appreciate your article, a lot of fine details and great explanations. But I changed some things anyway :

  • your article seems to me too "ERP". A lot of systems are ERP, but it is a consequence, not a main caracteristic. In Belgium, we have for example a lot of outsourced systems, especially for small companies.
  • I will probably create a "E-GRH" (E-HRM) article one of these days, to talk about all the external technologies not related with the management system itself, like E-learning ou E-recruitments.

I will spend some time one of these days to go deep into your blog to find some inspiration.

If you are also looking for some inspiration, I am also webmaster of two original HRM websites :

  • http://www.hr2hr.com/ The only independant portal about HRM in Belgium. Various uniques HRM calculators for Belgium. Generaly at or close to the top in Google for the 3 languages (for example "salary belgium").
  • http://www.hr4europe.com/ 4 the world indeed... something crasier. The very first dynamic multilingual portal about HRM (or anything else anyway). 20 subjects, 35 languages, 200 countries. About 500.000 pages generated. Actually working a lot on the chinese / china version.

I will probably try to spend more time on the French HRM category, cos I used to work as an HR executive (Belgium, Luxembourg, DR Congo), and there's not much about it on fr.wikipedia.

Best regards.
