- Comment: Droll. But au contraire; Mathematically, it's a recipe for -1 very alcoholic and pleasant glassfulls. Uh, I don't care a lot, but to be consistent with our policy on recipes I think we should Wikibook and delete. Dunno how Pink Squirrel got through, but it did, very recently, kept on 15 April. - Delete or move to cookbook. This topic came up recently concerning the pink squirell, or something. Then the decision was to keep it (iirc), but I still think these things should be moved unless they have some importance beyond the recipe. Sander123 11:25, 26 Apr 2004 (UTC)

- Keep the cocktails. A cocktail recipe can be canonical in a way that other recipes cannot be. The List of cocktails is an ongoing project that leads to the creation of dozens of pages similar to this one. Smerdis of Tlön 15:33, 26 Apr 2004 (UTC)
- Comment: Thin end of the wedge IMO. But fair enough. I do see the distinction. But what's a dry martini? Good Housekeeping said once V is for Vermouth, You've heard of it on doubt, When you make dry martinis, It's what you leave out. So perhaps the recipes aren't as canonical as you think? - Of course. I would point out that the list of cocktails has been here since late 2001, and was started with an open invitation to add cocktail names and their recipes to Wikipedia; it is a long running project. If something has changed since then to require all cocktail recipes to be moved or deleted, going after them one at a time strikes me as doing it the hard way.
