  • Delete, all of one Google News hit, does not even meet the very generous standard of 5 Google news hits established in the Sarah_Marple-Cantrell case [1]. - SimonP 20:05, Jul 20, 2004 (UTC)
  • I can say that this was big news here in the area, but I don't know whether there was much or any national coverage. Nor am I sure that matters, if it's major news in a city of significant size and the surrounding area. Everyking 20:25, 20 Jul 2004 (UTC)
  • delete, Wikipedia is not a news archive. Ianb 20:33, 20 Jul 2004 (UTC)
    • But news coverage is a measure of notability, obviously. Everyking 20:39, 20 Jul 2004 (UTC)
      • yes, but there's a lot of news coverage about - where do you draw the line? How many murder victims are there in the USA alone each year? Do we want coverage of say, fatal freeway accidents too? Ianb 20:55, 20 Jul 2004 (UTC)
