I found a web page that said the picture was taken by Ronald L. Haeberle. Another web site says he was a sargeant at the time and I wonder what the copyright would be then.

NPOV[edit]

The idea that insurgent primarily referred to civilians is absurd. unsigned comment 20:09, Apr 24, 2005 69.211.104.182

Do you realize that assertion that is contained in an explicitly-marked excerpt from a book? In any case, it is probably unnecessary to have an editorial remark in the description of a photograph. -Willmcw 00:59, Apr 25, 2005 (UTC)
More to the point, unless someone can justify the NPOV tag on a picture, it should be removed. -Willmcw 19:11, Apr 25, 2005 (UTC)
Based on a lack of active discussion, or even a clear justification for the addition of the tag in the first place, I'm going to remove the NPOV tag. If anyone still has concerns they are welcome to re-add it and to bring those concerns here. -Willmcw 02:33, Apr 28, 2005 (UTC)
