The easiest way to change your username is to just abandon this one and start a new one. Alternatively, please see Wikipedia:Changing username for a procedure. Oh, actually I see that you already listed yourself there. Well, I recommend leaving a note on a developer page, or sending email to wikitech-l.

In my opinion, Wikiwizard is not much better. For maximum credibility, I recommend you use your real name. If you have privacy concerns that make that impossible, I recommend the use of a 'fake real name'. Beyond that, it's best to make sure that your username would not mislead anyone to think that you have any authority that you don't actually have. Jimbo Wales 13:06, 5 May 2004 (UTC)
