Shingles

It's hardly completely my own work. I wrote herpes zoster but soon discovered that shingles was extant, and I merged a lot of that into the article. We had a nice presentation in our hospital recently about chickenpox in adults, which prompted me to give the article a little overhaul. Thanks for your kind words. Famous Miamians

Hope this message finds you well. I wrote an article this week on General Durbin Ward, who attended Miami back in the 1840's. I added him to the Miami University article, which has a list of grads and people who went there, but it was deleted by a newer user (he has 30 edits). Intraspecific Breeding

I have reverted the edit you made to intraspecific breeding. A liger is not an example of intraspecific breeding and was one of the reasons why the article was originally nominated for vfd by Rick - because the information it contained was incorrect. Megan1967 06:48, 26 Apr 2005 (UTC)

A request for assistance

Would you support the concept of moving the Earhart "myths" to a separate page or article? The reason for my suggesting this is that the main article should be an accurate and scholarly work while the speculation and conspiracy theories surrounding the disappearance of Amelia Earhart are interesting, they belong in a unique section. Most researchers, as you know, discount the many theories and speculation that has arisen in the years following her last flight. Go onto the Earhart discussion page and register your vote/comments...and a Happy New Year to you as well. Bzuk 03:02 3 January 2007 (UTC).

Sofapunch back from the dead

I was reading the talk page for Miami University and saw your (old) comment about Sofapunch. The band is no longer around here in Oxford, but was probably put on the MU page because all the students recognize the name and for a while, the band was involved with a lot of university-sanctioned social functions.
