I have generally found RK to be an intelligent, well-informed and intellectually courageous writer, although I agree he can go over the top on occasions. Anyone who attacks the vandal Lir can't be all bad. Adam 00:30, 9 Mar 2004 (UTC)

I have overwhelmingly found RK to be a perceptionally poor and intellectually entrenched writer with an anal retentive view of how to structure an encyclopaedia. I do agree he can contribute things of value to articles on occasions (though I can't think of any glaring examples offhand, that we might not have received from other sources who act more civilly). What his relations have been with Lir are totally irrelevant to my perception of him. -- Cimon 15:09, 14 Jun 2004 (UTC)
