Hello, welcome to wikipedia! I'll have to add your works to my to-read list. Most recently I've read Speaker for the Dead, which IMO was great, and The Green Mile, which IMO was ok but not great. I'm not sure there's anyone I'd liken myself to, though I can cite writers who've had a great deal of influence on my work: Gene Wolfe, Tim Powers, Orson Scott Card, Michael Bishop, and Isaac Asimov would probably top the list. Note that this doesn't mean I'm placing myself in that class. I'm a big fan of Speaker for the Dead, though I think the series loses steam as it goes along. --b

For the future, you should be extremely careful when editing your own article to avoid any sort of controversial edits. Also, all facts in this article need to be referenced to either a primary or secondary source. Please leave the unreferenced tag in place until the references have been improved, as this tag helps attract editors who may improve the article.
