I did some tidying to this page (anonymous as I hadn't created an account) and I think perhaps the "what is it" question might be answered in enough detail now. If not then someone (me?) needs to do some googling to get more. I also did some work on the last para about the Windscale incident. It might be better to point people to the Windscale article or perhaps even create a page for the Windscale incident. I added an external link (lifted from the Windscale page) and this is a good reference IMO. --Ioliver 17:43, 15 Jul 2004 (UTC)

Changed to Redirect[edit]

This article contained a lot of inaccuracies as well as an excess of spurios information. I rewrote the wigner effect article and included more and more-correct information. I think the topics are too closely related to seperate them and the small size of the article doesn't require a split so I simply created a redirect. If someone feels strongly that this should be a seperate article they can extract the information for the wigner effect article. Vicarious 22:49, 4 March 2006 (UTC)[reply]
