Username change[edit]

Hi Norm. Your edits as Krik have now been reattributed to your new username. Regards Kate Turner | Talk 13:17, 2004 Sep 8 (UTC)

Template color[edit]

Seeing as the color was put their without discussion in the first place, it's really unfair for you to cry foul when I remove the color without discussion. I assumed that the only discussion needed was in my edit summary. To quote Michael Snow:

"No background color, please. So-called substubs are already so small it's hard to see the article; no need to overwhelm it with a message so overdramatic that you never notice the article at all." (Replace "substubs" with "Wiktionary definitions".)

See my reply on your talk page. I agree about no background on substubs, but wiktionary candidates are a different matter and need to be treated as such. Also see Template talk:Move to Wiktionary. Norm 21:46, 8 Sep 2004 (UTC)

Universal Serial Bus[edit]

Hi Norm. Just wondering why you reverted all my changes in the Universal Serial Bus article. See history. — SimonEast 05:17, 16 Sep 2004 (UTC)

Thanks for replying (on my talk page) -- no problems then. Just wanted to check. :-) — SimonEast 01:41, 17 Sep 2004 (UTC)

Ford Laguna[edit]

I find small numbers of references to Ford Laguna and Renault Focus in German. Any idea what these are about? Rmhermen 14:05, Sep 28, 2004 (UTC)

I have checked some websites that have "Ford Laguna" and "Renault Focus" on them. Most of them appear to be mistakes. I have listed the articles on Cleanup for more attention. Norm 15:01, 28 Sep 2004 (UTC)

Official invitation[edit]

Hi!

This is a message to let you know that there is now a UK-specific Wikipedia community page at Wikipedia:UK wikipedians' notice board. It would be great if you could come and get involved! -- Graham ☺ | Talk 23:04, 1 Oct 2004 (UTC)

sanskrit 1000 articles[edit]

I pressed random page on the Sanskrit wikipedia only to find 1)English articles with sanskrit headings 2)stubs 3)blocks picked from Rigveda as articles

I did not check Latvian wiki but I think that it is not appropriate to count articles the way you do (I dont know how you do it tho :-] )

I don't know any Sanskrit so I couldn't check its contents, I just read its article counter. Many of the smaller Wikipedias have large amounts of stubs, but as more contributors come they expand pretty quickly. [[User:Norm|Norm]] 12:14, 16 Oct 2004 (UTC)

Gazwim[edit]

Hi Norm, User:Gazwim has claimed you are anti-Renault in your edits. Could you comment on this accusation at Wikipedia:Requests for adminship/Norm? Anárion 23:13, 20 Oct 2004 (UTC)

My adminship[edit]

What it boils down to is that considering your background, and considering that you're still very much on at least one side of a nastiness campaign that involves vandalism, it would be best if you, like most people, had to wait for the cynosure of one other person before articles get deleted or users get blocked. And you can keep reverting vandalism anyway. --jpgordon{gab} 15:57, 25 Oct 2004 (UTC)
