The Superluminal Pachyderm[edit]

Vanity (which was a disapointment, because when I saw the title I was hoping for some really good patent nonsense). --fvw* 02:35, 2004 Dec 15 (UTC)

  • They claim to have published 4 albums. If these albums exist, then they're a real band so Keep and Cleanup. If it's a prank page and they don't, then delete. EventHorizon 04:11, 15 Dec 2004 (UTC)
  • Delete: The reason I say that is the his albums are all mp3 based, web distributed. This is not to say that one day web distribution won't replace stores and bytes will replace CD's, but, at present, such is not the case, and there is very little way to determine notability without some empirical measure. Unsighned, not distributed, band. Good luck to him and all that. (When a totally web based distribution is proposed, we're going to have a mess. Number of downloads will be offered as proof of popularity and therefore dissemination, but that will be meaningless, since a band could download its own song 4 times a day per member, easily.) • DeleteNo hit on Allmusic either. (though I was amazed at how many bands there were on there with "Pachyderm" in the name! --Catullus 09:30, 15 Dec 2004 (UTC)
