From Cleanup: Japanese translation note trans. should be standard, possible vfd? -- PlatinumX

It's already been here from that cleanup listing. You added it to cleanup on 16 March at 03:26 [1] and RickK listed it here at 04:46 [2]. That time, ending 22 March, there were three votes to keep (Taku, Texture, Jamesday), two votes to delete (Jiang, Exploding boy), one person who listed with a question and no delete reason and didn't vote either way (RickK) and one person who possibly suggested a move to the Wikipedia namespace(+sj+)[3]. Looks as though RickK forgot to remove it from Cleanup after putting it here. Jamesday 18:54, 6 Apr 2004 (UTC)

  • Ask Taku why he made it. I think it could be incorporated into something else, but it is fine as it is now. BTW, this has been on VfD before and no one agreed to delete it... -- EmperorBMA / ブリイアン 22:08, 2 Apr 2004 (UTC)
  • plenty of people voted to delete. please ask the admin who unlisted it to archive the deletion debate on the article's talk page in the future. i again support deletion. tips on reading wikipedia do not belong in the main namespace. --Jiang 07:42, 3 Apr 2004 (UTC)
    • As many or more voted to keep. And that's how it's going this time as well - we've now accumulated one more different keep vote and one more different delete vote. Jamesday

  • Keep. Notes about how terms are translated are appropriate in the main article space because readers need to see them and confirm the term in the original language. Jamesday 18:54, 6 Apr 2004 (UTC)
  • Keep - Shouldn't there be a minimum time between nominations for VfD? - Tεxτurε 15:51, 12 Apr 2004 (UTC)
  • Keep but only if there is some work on bringing some order and relevance to the list Chrissmith 10:50, Apr 14, 2004 (UTC)
