Deleting the paragraph "Spanish Period" is denying part of Flanders' most important period in history.

The Austrian domination was not that important.

I do not want to edit your work. I think it is well done, yet I would like you to include a paragraph on the Spanish domination of Flanders.--Ratatouille 09:47, 10 Sep 2004 (UTC)

Reply I didn't delete any paragraph - I actually slightly expanded the discussion of the Spanish period. I only removed the superfluous crosshead "Spanish regime" because the paragraph it described referred to the century after 1714 !!!

I can add something about the impact of the Dutch revolution, but a crosshead does not make content cover something that it patently doesn't. - Lud
