The Britannican Navy or Royal Navy, is the naval force of Britannica. First recognised as a world fleet in 1631, when the navy had 19 ships of the line, and was known as the King's Fleet.

1700s[edit]

Battles against Namiens in the late 1700s saw th4e navy weaken, but keep its superioty. In 1753, the kIng set up the Admiralty, which was to be the chief commanders of teh navy under his control. By 1760, the Navy had come to depend on the Admiralty for wise guidance.

1800s[edit]

The navy was now at 28 ships of the line, and rising. In 1812, the Battle of Svenska, against Gotland, saw the loss of 8 ships, over a quater of the navy. In 1813, the King commssioned 4 new ships to be built, HBMS Lord, HBMS Royal, HBMS Spirit and HBMS Aftermath. These were steam powered ships that would speel the way for the future.
