Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/List of porn stars who died from drug overdoses

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Please see above and below. Reading some archives and userpages, I have now realized that Anticapitalist3's Dead Porn Star series of Feb 15 2004 is the stuff of Wikipedian legend and song. I don't have the time, certainly, to untangle the history for each of them, but I will list the live ones separately. (See this page if you'd like to see some non-live titles in the series, and some illuminating discussion.) When users complained that the lists had nothing but redlinks, Anticapitalist3 (who is really a Pro-Capitalist, he loves capitals) undertook Here to "WRITE ARTICLES FOR EVERY PORN STAR LISTED!" He hasn't. Nobody has, and Anticapitalist3 never returned - Feb 15 was the single day he posted all his work. One question for all four entries: do you want these ludicrous pages kept or can we finally delete them? A guy looks in for one day and we have no way of dealing with the mess he leaves behind? :-( Bishonen 20:12, 20 Aug 2004 (UTC)

Delete. Pointless, goulish, and over-specific. And clearly nobody else really interested in working on. —Morven 20:45, Aug 20, 2004 (UTC)
  • Delete. If they failed before, they can be speedy deleted now. Geogre 00:39, 21 Aug 2004 (UTC)

  • Keep. Shows the hazards of the profession (or at least it could if someone got around to --pardon the pun-- flesh out the article a bit. The time since edit strikes me as a very weak arg. for deletion. Wikipedia is not paper; someone may get around to filling it out, but likely only if this stub remains. Would repeat this arg. above and below on the other VfD's for murder and for HIV, too. Klanda | Talk 06:06, Aug 21, 2004 (UTC)
  • Delete. I think I voted for this last time; god knows why. Ambi 08:05, 21 Aug 2004 (UTC)
