"Biased" article topics[edit]

You may want to read through Wikipedia:Neutral point of view. In a nutshell, though, Wikipedia presents all sides of a dispute without asserting that any one is (in)correct. So for articles like liberal media, it would be presented that many right-wingers feel the media has a liberal bias, without actually suggesting that this is the correct or incorrect view. Clarence Thomas vs Antonin Scalia[edit]

Uh, no offence -- I didn't like the wording on George H. W. Bush either re: Clarence Thomas -- but Scalia is most definitely white, so I don't think the person who added the comment about Thomas was forgetting Scalia.—chris.lawson (talk) 22:25, 6 August 2005 (UTC)[reply]

Antonin Scalia is Italian and I wouldn't consider Italians to really be considered white.
While you're entitled to your opinion, that doesn't make it a fact, and Scalia is only half Italian anyway. I don't know of any WP precedent for what is considered "white", but I think it's perfectly reasonable to use the same criteria that the U.S. Census Bureau uses, for example.—chris.lawson (talk) 13:24, 7 August 2005 (UTC)[reply]

KKK article[edit]

Hi -- I'm not sure why you reverted the Ku Klux Klan article. Could we discuss it on the talk page? I did notice that some text about Byrd got lost in the shuffle, and I don't know if that was the issue that concerned you, but I've reinserted that.--Bcrowell 05:10, 9 August 2005 (UTC)[reply]

Re your reply on my user talk page, how about discussing this on the KKK article's talk page?--Bcrowell 00:23, 10 August 2005 (UTC)[reply]

'Obscenity'[edit]

WP:DRV is not an article or a user page. - ulayiti (talk) 23:07, 6 May 2006 (UTC)[reply]

There isn't a policy on obscenity as far as I know, and the template only mentions articles and user pages. Wikipedia is not censored. Besides, I was just mostly pasting the content of the article. Do you mean I should have left out the naughty words? - ulayiti (talk) 23:20, 6 May 2006 (UTC)[reply]
So? WP:NOT censored. - ulayiti (talk) 23:30, 6 May 2006 (UTC)[reply]
Er, point me to a policy on obscenity on Wikipedia. - ulayiti (talk) 23:42, 6 May 2006 (UTC)[reply]
So you don't know if it's based on anything but you still throw it at people? And how is saying 'motherfucking' an attack? - ulayiti (talk) 23:52, 6 May 2006 (UTC)[reply]
