  • Michael Collins (Irish patriot) and Michael Collins (revolutionary)- unnecessary redirects. Harro5 02:38, May 21, 2005 (UTC)
    • Please explain which of the 6 reasons for deletion at the top of this page apply to these redirects. We don't just delete redirects for the sake of it, as people might still find them useful. sjorford →•← 10:47, 23 May 2005 (UTC)[reply]
    • I support deleting them. Although none of the 6 reasons above apply, two other reasons do apply.
      • 7. They were not created as redirects and the intent for which they were created no longer applies. They were intended in 2002 and Jan 2003 as pages for the information now held in 'Michael Collins (Irish leader). That was aeons ago in WikiYears and the conventions on page naming have evolved, the content has been moved, and there are no attempts to move it back..
      • None of the conditons for preventing deletion appy. Even Point 3 - Aid to search does not apply as this link and this link demonstrate. Rye1967 03:38, May 24, 2005 (UTC)
    • Keep they are very old redirects and might be linked externally. They also aid accidental linking. - SimonP 14:55, May 27, 2005 (UTC)
    • Weak keep, the former is POV but both assist in internal and external searches. -Sean Curtin 01:01, May 28, 2005 (UTC)
