Hi, Pale blue dot. I appreciate your edits to the Data structure page, and although it's somewhat debatable, I felt like the accuracy of the statements is difficult to justify. Very few data structures are constructed using linked lists, other than stacks, queues, and some hash tables. The tradeoffs between arrays and linked lists are already discussed in both their articles. Finally, the last paragraph of data structure (my edit, I admit) discusses much the same idea. I quote it here, with an added change based on your paragraph:

The fundamental building blocks of most data structures are arrays, records, discriminated unions and references. For example, records and references are used to build the simplest fundamental linked data structure, the linked list.

Steam engine[edit]

Nice picture of a steam locomotive, but I think it would do better in a locomotive article. Steam engine is for steam engines in the general sense -- including locomotives, ships, powerstations, stationary plant of all kinds. Placing a picture of a locomotive there only reinforces the misconception that steam engine == steam locomotive. —Morven 09:55, Jun 9, 2004 (UTC)
