Welcome!

Hello, EpArn, and welcome to Wikipedia! Thank you for your contributions. I hope you like the place and decide to stay. Here are a few good links for newcomers:

I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian! Please sign your name on talk pages using four tildes (~~~~); this will automatically produce your name and the date. If you need help, check out Wikipedia:Where to ask a question, ask me on my talk page, or place {{helpme}} on your talk page and someone will show up shortly to answer your questions. Again, welcome!

Thank you for your contributions to Curry's paradox. I would like to mention that your additions need a bit of formatting. Would you mind going back and fixing some things? Thanks. Oleg Alexandrov 18:11, 1 Apr 2005 (UTC)

you are right, Oleg[edit]

First thing, I don't know how this user talk works, I don't know if this is the right place to answer. I hope it is.

Second thing, you are right, my addition views bad, I didn't preview it. Even more, I am not sure if my addition is right for the article or it should go in the discussion part. Since you only mention the formatting, I will only address that.

Thanks for your comment. (User:EpArn forgot to sign).

If you are not sure, you better put it on the discussion part. This because text which shows in an article looks best when it is polished. Let me know if you have any questions.
PS It is good if you sign your comments, with four tildas, see above. Oleg Alexandrov 21:29, 1 Apr 2005 (UTC)

Right, Oleg.

metaquestions:

Do you answer so fast because you are "watching this page"?

I indeed see things on my watchlist. I don't always reply fast, that was a coincidence. :) Oleg Alexandrov 23:06, 1 Apr 2005 (UTC)

If you watch an article page, do you also get notified about changes in the discussion page?

That's right. And the other way around. Oleg Alexandrov 23:06, 1 Apr 2005 (UTC)

question:

Are you specifically watching "Curry's paradox", or is your comment a part of house keeping service of yours? I mean I am changing it yet again, and I am sorry to anyone that watches it for the repeated "not minor edit" minor edits that I am adding. In any case, if you watch it and disagree with me I will watch its disscussion page.

I know nothing about Curry's paradox. I had it on my watchlist because I did a very small edit on it. So yes, this is a bit of housekeeping for me, nothing else. So, Curry's paradox is all yours and good luck working on it! I will comment only if I see some formatting issues. Oleg Alexandrov 23:06, 1 Apr 2005 (UTC)
PS It is very nice if you put an edit summary when you change something. This is a favor to other people who have a page on the watchlist. Oleg Alexandrov 23:06, 1 Apr 2005 (UTC)

Several suggestions[edit]

Hi EpArn. Hope now you feel at home here. I have a couple of small suggestions. First, it is good to do a spellcheck before you save an article, it makes things look more professional. You could also take a look at Wikipedia:Text editor support to see if any of those options attract you. Another suggestion is that it is good whenever possible to use simple English like "for example" instead of "id est", which many people will not know what it means. Enjoy! Note taken. Thanks, Oleg. EpArn 11:24, 4 Apr 2005 (UTC)
