AfD nomination of KrisWorld[edit]

I have nominated KrisWorld, an article that you created, for deletion. I do not think that this article satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and have explained why at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/KrisWorld. Your opinions on the matter are welcome at that same discussion page; also, you are welcome to edit the article to address these concerns. Thank you for your time.

Please contact me if you're unsure why you received this message. Russavia Dialogue 04:17, 9 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Re: Life on Earth[edit]

The following comment by me is exactly the same as the one at Talk:Carbon#Life on Earth, except for the link added in the first line to preserve the context [Brian Jason Drake 02:11, 30 April 2009 (UTC)]:[reply]

The article carbon states:

Carbon compounds form the basis of all life on Earth...

Huh? According to Wikipedia's article, we don't even have a good definition of life! Even if we did, it's not entirely clear (at least from what I've read) that we know about all life on Earth. Brian Jason Drake 13:09, 24 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Dear Brian, that article is about what we know, not about what we don't know. As a scientist, I agree that any fact can be questioned, but there is a threshold for what we consider "knowledge", and in this question, the threshold is long passed. If start adding such tags[dubious ], then most wikipedia articles will be unreadable. Best regards. NIMSoffice (talk) 23:28, 24 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Why does this, as you claim at Talk:Carbon#Life on Earth, belong here? Brian Jason Drake 02:11, 30 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Message regarding your use of the No Multi License Template[edit]

In case you are not aware, the Wikimedia Foundation has proposed that the copyright licensing terms on the wikis operated by the WMF – including Wikipedia – be changed to include the Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike (CC-BY-SA) license in addition to the current GNU Free Documentation License (GFDL) as allowed by version 1.3 of the GFDL. The community has approved this change with 75.8% in favor, and on June 15, 2009, the change will take effect.
You currently have {{NoMultiLicense}} on your user or user talk page, which states that your edits are licensed under the GFDL only. On or before June 15, this template will be changed to reflect Wikipedia's new licensing terms. If you accept the licensing change, you do not need to do anything (and feel free to remove this message); if you do not accept it, we regret that you will no longer be able to contribute to the encyclopedia. Please join the discussion at Wikipedia:Village pump (policy)#NoMultiLicense template if you have any comments.

It's not just that you tried to make them write back, it's that the way you asked that question seems likely to upset them, and therefore likely to tempt them to write something nasty back. Brian Jason Drake 03:42, 2 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]

sorry! i'll think next time by the way please leave messages comments or Replies on my talkpage next time

The article Clean Urban Transport for Europe has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Ephemeral project. No independent sources. Does not meet WP:GNG.

While all contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Hi,

You had made a request on en.wiki to have the higher resolution version of the File:Valéry Inkijinoff.jpg restored so you can transfer it to Commons. Commons:Deletion requests/File:Actor Valéry Inkijinoff.jpg closed as keep and so I have restored the higher resolution image. You may now transfer as you see fit. Cheers. -- Whpq (talk) 13:05, 3 March 2023 (UTC)[reply]
