Placed at the end of a Wikipedia:Featured picture candidates/Example page after the vote is closed.

Usage: {{FPCresult|Promoted|Image:FILENAME.JPG}} or {{FPCresult|Not promoted| }}

Implementing category[edit]

{{editprotected}} There has been a suggestion at the Featured picture candidates talk page to implement the following category: Category:Ended featured picture nominations

The category should be for the page of template transclusion, not the template page itself. This is the code that requested to be pasted at the bottom of the template source:

Not done: I think that's overcomplicated. Do nested XHTML tags formed like <<includeonly>noinclude> really work? Could it be coded using templates designed to test the namespace, like {{main other}}? --Redrose64 (talk) 17:20, 28 January 2013 (UTC)[reply]
