"Since Mozilla is an open-source browser, many people like to do these things. Over 200 projects are currently hosted on Mozdev."

It is not correct, like you can see in Mozdev.org's FAQ:

"Q: What is a Mozilla application?

A: Mozilla is not just a web browser. It is also a framework for building cross-platform applications using standards such as Cascading Style Sheets (CSS), XML languages such as the XML-based User-interface Language (XUL), eXtensible Binding Language (XBL), and Resource Description Framework (RDF). The Mozilla framework is used to create Netscape's Mozilla-based browsers (Netscape 6.x and 7.x), other browsers such as Galeon and Camino, and chat clients like ChatZilla and JabberZilla. Developers also use Mozilla to create development tools, browser enhancements, games, and other types of add-ons and applications. For more information about how to make Mozilla applications, read Creating Applications with Mozilla by O'Reilly. "

Forum of mozdev developers?[edit]

Is there any meta forum on mozdev? I wonder whether MAF is still in active development. I can´t believe that IE 7 has something (working MHTML support) that Firefox or any extension to it don´t have. So I´d like to "wake up" the community . 84.173.244.40 19:26, 29 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I have to be precise: IE 7 has it but it´s not working properly. The real opponent is the Opera browser that produces appropriate MHT files. 84.173.229.233 16:32, 30 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]
