Please be more careful with page moves[edit]

Your moves of NBC left a whole bunch of broken redirects, which you did not fix as is expected of people who do page moves (Wikipedia:How to rename (move) a page). You also may have separated the article from its Talk page. Finally, "NBC Universal Television" is not an acceptable name for the article, as no one knows it by that name. It needs to either be at NBC, which is by FAR the most common usage, or, worst case, National Broadcasting Company, which at least most people would probably recognize (Wikipedia:Naming conventions (common names)). Wikipedia:Disambiguation makes it clear that if one article is much more sought after than the other entries (in this case mostly red links which seems pretty clear to me that the broadcaster trumps the others), Type 3, 'primary' disambiguation should be used, so I'm going to move it back to NBC. Also, you should have Moved NBC (disabmiguation) instead of editing the redirect left at NBC by the move. If you feel strongly about moving it to "National Broadcasting Company", please make your case on the Talk page, and publize the issue on places like the Village Pump and see if you can get community consensus for such a move. In the future, before you move a page, especially one with so many links to it, please make sure you A) are confident you've studied the relevant policies and guidelines, and B) are willing to fix all the broken links. And now you've moved ABC without cleaning up all the links you broke. There is a reason the "Move page" page says:

Links to the old page title will not be changed; be sure to check for double-redirects (using "What links here") after the move. You are responsible for making sure that links continue to point where they are supposed to go."

For example, go to the Frank Broyles article and click on "American Broadcasting Corporation" (or click it here, for that matter). Note that you don't make it to the new article location. You've left a good 50 or more articles broken in this way. Since ABC has too many other uses, there are valid arguments for both names, so I don't have an issue with that aspect, in this case.

However, AMC is going back: Not only does 'Classics' get almost 100 times as many hits as 'Channel', making it clearly the more common name, this news article[1] dated 12/3/04 still uses 'Classics', implying that it is also the 'real' name (all the footer links at amctv.com, including 'about us' are broken, so I can't check there, but everything else indicates it's still 'Classics').
