Luigi's full name is Luigi Mario. If you see this changed in error (as people are wont to do), please change it back. -- Kwekubo 21:17, 20 Apr 2004 (UTC)

I objected to having Mario called Mario Mario in Mario since that's simply confusing (and rarely used), but I think it's OK here. However, I believe this article should be located at Luigi (Mario brother) instead. Fredrik (talk) 20:52, 17 Jun 2004 (UTC)

Twins?[edit]

A lot of things say that Luigi is Mario's younger brother. I am aware of Mario and Luigi being born at the same time at the end of Yoshi's Island, but what official material says that Luigi is Mario's younger brother? The games never directly refered to them as twins... Cheese 17:14, 3 Oct 2004 (UTC)

I looked at the SSBM trophy and it said that Luigi was Mario's younger brother. Also, I think it says that he's the younger brother wuite often in MLSS. Cheese 13:29, 4 Oct 2004 (UTC)

Super Smash Bros. Melee[edit]

I changed an error about this: He's an unlockable character, not an initial fighter. All I did was trim a bit and nothing else, so if anyone could look over that part and see if it's worded okay I'd appreciate it. - GSGold 20:58, 4 Nov 2004 (UTC)

Luigi's name is really Japanese in origin[edit]

The Japanese word ruiji (類似) means "resemblance" or "copy". It made for a name that is effective in both Japanese and English, much as Wario is acceptable in both languages. -- Myria 07:15, 1 Dec 2004 (UTC)
