Below is all the text that was in the article. It's not very readable, but it's what was there. From the links, it look like The Assassin's Guild is a club that plays an LRP called Killer. They are not famous nor important. I think the game Killer deserves an entry, but this club that just plays the game doesn't. I vote to delete this entry. Anyone else? --Frecklefoot 22:32 22 May 2003 (UTC)

This is linked to from a page about Cambridge, Massachusetts; however, the description that follows is of the Guild in Cambridge, UK.
The website tends to move around; there's currently one at http://www.srcf.ucam.org/assassins/
Each member is assigned a number of targets to assassinate during term using water guns, cardboard knives or other approved toy weaponry.
Each member, likewise, has three people that they have been assigned as target to. No-one knows whose target they are.
Kills and failed attempts are reported to the umpire by both victim and assassin, and published on the website. Eventually, it becomes possible to deduce who one's assassins are.
Legal targets are your assigned targets, the people you have been assigned as target to, and anyone carrying a visible legal weapon. Anyone else is an innocent, and killing or attempting to kill them is against the rules.
Anyone who breaks any rules is placed on the "wanted" list - that is, assigned as a target to everyone playing at once.
That's pretty much it.

I thought "Assassin's Guild" was the standard name for societies/groups/... for playing "Killer"? I was at Cam, UK, but I'm pretty sure there are Assassin's Guilds at most UK universities - it's an institution, really, kinda like Rag Week... Martin
