Surely her pen-name was "James Tiptree, Jr", not "James Tiptree Junior", wasn't it? --Zundark, 2001 Dec 3

Er, yes. Too much editing, getting tired. -- The Anome

==bio==

I'm rating this page as "start" by the biography group's standards because there's only a skeleton of biographical information here; much more material on her writing. She's a very difficult person to document--one of her careers, after all, was intelligence analyst--and she appears to have been intensely private as well--she concealed herself. Julie Phillips's award-winning biography is strongest in the area that "Tiptree" documented. Randwolf 06:20, 6 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

==LGBT==

==SF==

I've rated it for the SF and LGBT projects. I think it covers all the important facts, but is missing discusion of her huge importance to the development of SF, and contains a lot of uncited information. Hence C class. Does her biography not give any more information on her sexuality? Yobmod (talk) 13:27, 28 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]
