Just because something is widespread doesn't mean we shouldn't inform readers somehow of incomplete or nonrepresentative information. Also, many readers will naturally think of an extra item that can be added to the list - this extra reminder will hopefully persuade them to add it. I do have another question though - what is the difference between listdev and expand_list? saturnight 23:36, Sep 6, 2004 (UTC)

There is no difference that I know of. I've tried to combine them in the past, but was faced with rather vicious opposal. There appear to be active factions supporting both. I don't really understand. Derrick Coetzee 05:28, 7 Sep 2004 (UTC)

dynamic lists[edit]

Expand list and listdev[edit]

Is there a reason both of these exist? Would anyone complain if I redirect the latter to the former? Or is there still 'rather vicious opposal'? --SPUI (talk) 01:29, 16 Feb 2005 (UTC)
