How is it decided which new Palm or PalmOne PDA replaces the discontinued model?

Change of name[edit]
What should we do now palmOne has become Palm, Inc, what are the wiki rules for naming the devices etc.. or will the palm name come back when there are new devices released?
One can generally post somthing to the effect when the news is official, but in this case, "Palm, Inc." has not stated what new devices will be relased under their "new" surname, so I say we wait and watch, and post accurate information when it comes. CoolFox 03:23, July 18, 2005 (UTC)
- I think it should be renamed immediately. The entire point of the move from PalmOne's perspective was to regain their brand identity. It would be pointless for them to spend $20 million and not use the name. --Steven Fisher 03:01, 3 August 2005 (UTC)
