License tagging for Image:Engraving of first telford bridge at bonar.jpg[edit]

Thanks for uploading Image:Engraving of first telford bridge at bonar.jpg. Wikipedia gets thousands of images uploaded every day, and in order to verify that the images can be legally used on Wikipedia, the source and copyright status must be indicated. Images need to have an image tag applied to the image description page indicating the copyright status of the image. This uniform and easy-to-understand method of indicating the license status allows potential re-users of the images to know what they are allowed to do with the images.

For more information on using images, see the following pages:

This is an automated notice by OrphanBot. If you need help on selecting a tag to use, or in adding the tag to the image description, feel free to post a message at Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. 05:05, 4 September 2006 (UTC)

Photo's[edit]

Hi Andrew I am Foxie001 of the dutch wikipedia. I have created there an article about Bonar Bridge (mostly thanks to your article) and I'd like to add some photo's but I'can't add yours because they are not on commons. They would really improve my article so would you like to put them on commons? Foxie001 (talk) 17:06, 19 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]

File copyright problem with File:Ann Henderson Graduation Photo.jpg[edit]

File Copyright problem
File Copyright problem

Thank you for uploading File:Ann Henderson Graduation Photo.jpg. However, it currently is missing information on its copyright status. Wikipedia takes copyright very seriously. It may be deleted soon, unless we can determine the license and the source of the file. If you know this information, then you can add a copyright tag to the image description page.

If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have specified their license and tagged them, too. You can find a list of files you have uploaded by following this link.

If you have any questions, please feel free to ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thanks again for your cooperation. ww2censor (talk) 23:18, 18 September 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Spelling[edit]

Some of your photos have the spelling "incribed", should be "inscribed". Do a search for

containing . . .
"incribed"

and fix those you can. 109.151.135.121 (talk) 04:43, 17 May 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
